Gameout.io has been developed by a game developer from Perth, Australia.
Gameout.io is operating on 3 core goals:
- Bring back physical media for games
- Develop an Australian game hosting platform for Australian game developers
- Make it indie friendly (small cut, no entry cost, easy to join)
The service will also allow digital only sales, to allow for lower sale costs for customers and developers who don’t want physical games being sold.
Gameout.io will charge a 10% platform fee on all sales, to support the running costs of the site.
